Bandipur Village tour in Nepal
Bandipur village is a hilltop
charismatic settlement lying in the center of Kathmandu Pokhara highway in the
Tanahu district. Situated at an altitude of 1005m from sea level Bandipur has
Marshyandi River flowing beneath it. The place is dominated by Newar and Magar
ethnic group. From the ridge of the Bandipur town one can witness the panaromic
Mountain View, artistic houses, visit pagoda roofed temples and also the
largest cave of the country “Siddha Gupha” which is made up of stalatitles and
stalagmites. Bestowed with beautiful scenic beauty, the eastern portion of
Bandipur has pagoda roofed Bindabasini temple which is the abode of Goddess
Durga which is Bandipur’s sentinel deity. This temple which is decorated with
fine wood carving and detail brass work seem to be the carbon copy of those
found in much old pagoda structure in Kathmandu valley. The other temples
include Mahalxmi temple which has mesmerizing wood work and the Khadga Devi
temple which seems to be alive only during the Dashain festival. Bandipur has
mountain saddle which makes the road barely wide enough to accommodate the main
street lined by 2-3 storey buildings on either side. Bandipur is a combo of
both exquisite natural beauty along with along with the vintage cultural
atmosphere.
Day
to Day itinerary
Day 01: we will meet in Kathmandu Trivhuban international airport
& transfer to hotel,after your long flight,you will have time for
refreshment then we will invite you in our travel office for programe
briefing.
Day 02: after having breakfast we will sightseeing in oldest twon
Bhaktpur such as krishana temple,pashupati temple, 55 window palace,Golden
gate, taleju temple, Nyathpola temple, dattatreya temple and Chagunarayan
temple(300 years old temple)
Day 03: Early morning after having breakfast we will leave for
unique Newari twon Bandipur, On the way to Bandipur we will observe lasdscape,
soaring rafting riverTrisuli, another river marsysngdi, Rice,Millet and potato
field.overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Early Morning excursion around Bandipur and further drive
to Pokhara, On the way to pokhara we will have chance to observe the Annapurna
Himalayan Range from your eye level. in the afternoon sightseeing to pokhara
valley.overnight at hotel
Day 05: Return to kathmandu and leisure time for walk round
Day 06: Departure to airport for your next destination
